Our Owner and CEO, Sabrina Riley formed The Riley Way, LLC to promote the idea kids can learn computer programming through thinking strategically early in life by playing chess. We believe fostering the love of a game by processing objectivity and making decisions based on primal needs to win the game  can help set the first stages of programming success. Functions, variables, algorithms and arguments parallels both computer programming and chess.

Our future plan includes purchasing a mobile trailer equipped with chess kits, outdoor chessboard carpets (for a nice sunny day), snacks  and volunteer instructors  to increase after school chess clubs for students in North Carolina public schools.
